The NH Heemskerk Marquette hotel is part of a huge estate that includes a 13th-century castle. The location is wonderful – there are sprawling grounds and the beach is just a cycle-ride away. You can walk to the local village, while Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Haarlem are all an easy drive away.
