Haarlem is one of the most beautiful old cities in the Netherlands. It is a delightful city with ca. 150,000 inhabitants. One of the city’s tallest landmarks, the striking tower of Grote of Sint Bavokerk (St Bavo’s Church), is visible for miles around. Cycling along the outskirts of this city will show you that Haarlem and its surroundings have it all: beautiful nature, magnificent landscapes, windmills, top of the range architectural buildings, marina’s and lots of safe cycling paths!
You can start and end your journey at two different spots: Hotel Duin & Kruidberg in Santpoort or at the city centre of Haarlem. You will cycle through villages like Santpoort, Bloemendaal, Heemstede, Bennebroek and Spaarndam.
This trip will take you around Haarlem in just under 2,5 hours but there are plenty of sites for a short break so you can enjoy the whole day.
